This wonderfully unique collector's plate features a Springer Spaniel puppy napping atop a duck decoy. He is "dog-tired" from playing all day and needs a quick nap before he is up and springing around again. This plate is from a first series based on the works of ward-winning wildlife artist, Lynn Kaatz. It is painted in rich but muted colors of the field. "Dog-Tired-The Springer Spaniel" is a plate from the premier issue of Field Puppies. It comes with a Certificate of Authencity, plate number 12739 I. The plate collection is the first series ever sponsored by the United Kennel Club (UKC).
